This year, the sixth IHK Offshore Stammtisch took place in Bunderhee at ENOVA headquarters. The networking meeting of the offshore wind industry, which is organized by the University of Emden/Leer and the chamber of commerce twice a year, has become an integral part of the industry and serves as a bridge between the annual “Emden Offshore Days.”
After a brief welcome by Prof. Gerhard Kreutz of the University of Emden/Leer, the meeting dealt with the positive development of offshore wind energy and the six projects that are currently under construction in the North Sea. Over the course of the event, owner and managing director of the ENOVA Group, Dipl.-Phys. Helmuth A. Brümmer, held a lecture on the offshore activities of ENOVA, which was also the thematic focus of the evening. Afterward, Dipl.-Ing. Dirk Warnecke introduced project development and construction on the high seas, using the offshore wind farm Riffgat as an example. After completion of the lecture program, a mutual exchange of information took place.
