Our motivation: better perspectives

The history of renewable energy, like ENOVA’s, is a success story carried by the wind.
In our region today, wind turbines are as much a part of the landscape as windmills once were. In June 2014 nearly 25,000 wind turbines produced clean electricity with an installed capacity of 35,000 megawatts. Worldwide, this places Germany in third place, behind China and the United States.
Currently, the share of renewable energy in electricity consumption is approximately 30 percent, about a third of which comes from wind power. According to industry projections, renewable energy will cover almost half of Germany’s total electricity needs by the year 2020. We’re playing our part in achieving this enormous goal.

Onshore, offshore, repowering

In addition to offshore wind energy production, wind on land is the driving force of the energy revolution. The development of new locations as well as the replacement of old plants – the so called „repowering“ – is therefore necessary.
As a project developer, general contractor, and service provider, ENOVA has already implemented comprehensive onshore and repowering projects. New, promising locations in Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Rhineland-Palatinate, and Hesse are already anticipated. With this, ENOVA provides private and corporate investors with ecologically clean and economically rewarding prospects.
