We cover everything relating to wind power – and we’ve created a value-adding cycle that makes us unique.
As a family business, we’re compact and agile and we always strive to ensure that all our strengths can be deployed separately to create value and growth. But it’s taken together that they can achieve really great things, often putting us a step ahead of the market.
Sustainability, solidity, safety. ENOVA is all about reliability and creating value – for the environment and for our investors.
Mission
believe
In a constantly changing market, we adapt to circumstances and grow with them. Agile and confident, we’re constantly opening up new areas of business and broadening the foundation of our company.
We’re convinced that, with the right amount of self-confidence and the right range of services, we can achieve a positive outcome, whatever changes happen.
Growth at any price and short-term profits have no place in our business. Care, continuity and sustainability always come before speed. We also see ourselves as part of local communities and we manifest our social responsibility through a variety of activities.
Hauke Brümmer (Chief Executive Officer), Hendrik Böschen (Chief Operating Officer) and Björn Burau (Chief Financial Officer) form the top management of the ENOVA Group.
Together, they are working to future-proof ENOVA, drive forward the company's strong growth and optimize the associated processes, structures and management tasks.
Hauke Brümmer joined the family business in 2014. In his role as CEO, he is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the company.
Hendrik Böschen has been working in the wind industry for 14 years. In his role as COO, he has been responsible for project development, service and operational management, since joining ENOVA in 2023.
Björn Burau joined ENOVA in 2017, most recently as Team Leader Investment & Asset Management. As CFO, he is responsible for investment and asset management, commercial management, finance and controlling.
ENOVA has developed constantly throughout its 35-year history. It was a pioneer. Now it’s a leader. When Helmuth A. Brümmer, now Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the ENOVA Group, founded ENOVA Energiesysteme GmbH & Co. KG in Leer, East Frisia, in 1989 he demonstrated one thing above all else: vision. Even then, he consistently focused on developing sustainable solutions and protecting the climate.
Around 20 projected offshore wind turbines made ENOVA a pioneer in Germany. Outstanding: RIFFGAT, a joint project with EWE, was the first commercial offshore wind farm to be completed in the North Sea. In 2014, 30 wind turbines were connected to the grid north-west of the island of Borkum.
Hauke Brümmer joined the group of companies in 2014 and its portfolio has been steadily expanded ever since. The result is a self-contained cycle covering every aspect of economical wind turbine operation.
In 1989 Helmuth A. Brümmer founded ENOVA Energiesysteme GmbH & Co. KG in Leer, East Frisia. He focused from the outset on developing sustainable solutions and protecting the climate.
In 1995 ENOVA built its first onshore wind farm in Holtgaste in the district of Leer, East Frisia. It was repowered in 2012.
In 1998, planning began for the first commercial offshore wind farm within the North Sea’s twelve nautical mile zone. It was connected to the grid in 2014.
ENOVA Service GmbH has been offering preventive and corrective maintenance services for Enercon wind turbines since 1 September 2017. This business model offers good value for money as well as a fast and transparent service, and the plan is to continue building on it.
ENOVA Value is a new company that focuses on purchasing old wind turbines. The aim is to find individual solutions to continue operation economically or for successfully repowering. Around 100 MW of wind power investments are currently held. The aim is to increase this to 200 MW.
ENOVA Energieanlagen GmbH’s e.live tool is a Microsoft-based software solution with which asset managers can individually monitor and manage any conventional turbine with a digital connection, regardless of manufacturer and across portfolios.
A 400 kW turbine was replaced by a 2 MW turbine as part of a repowering project in the district of Leer. This increased the yield by a factor of seven.
Ten old turbines at the Holtgaste wind farm were replaced by five new and more powerful ones in 2012. Despite being half as many, the more efficient E-101 turbines were able to almost quadruple the energy yield.
ENOVA has been providing its clients with operational and management services for over 20 years. This experience is now being offered to others, with service packages and modules individually tailored to customers.
The Nordsee One offshore project with a capacity of 332 MW, developed by ENOVA and sold to RWE, goes into operation. The project can supply around 400,000 households.
